In July 2025, The Restorative Nesting Foundation had the opportunity to support our local community shelter’s Back-to-School Bash, standing alongside families as they prepared for a new school year.

Through our online registry, we collected and donated backpacks, lunch bags, and water bottles to help students begin the school year feeling prepared and encouraged. Once the supplies were gathered, volunteers sorted and organized them into complete sets for children of different ages and needs. 🎒🥤

Our youth volunteers also created encouraging note cards filled with words of support, motivation, and kindness for children returning to school. Adult volunteers prepared and served a warm meal featuring pulled chicken sandwiches, baked beans, potato chips, coleslaw, pound cake, and ice cream. 🍽️🍰

Remember: Every backpack packed, every meal served, and every kind word shared helps a child step into the school year with hope and confidence. 💛📚
